Terms of Service — Project BiFrost

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Project BiFrost After Effects plugin (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

2. Licence

We grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to install and use the BiFrost plugin on machines you personally operate, one active install per issued licence key. Team plans provide one key per seat. Licence keys are personal — sharing them with others is a material breach of these Terms.

3. Subscription and billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. All fees are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the paid billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

4. Free and promotional licences

We may issue free or promotional licences at our discretion. These licences expire at the date shown on your dashboard and cannot be resold or transferred.

5. Acceptable use

You will not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the plugin; (b) redistribute, sublicense, or resell licence keys; (c) use the Service to build a competing product; (d) attempt to bypass licence verification or seat limits.

6. Intellectual property

All templates, presets, code, and creative assets bundled with the Service remain the property of Project BiFrost. Output you produce with the Service belongs to you — you may use it commercially without paying additional royalties.

7. Availability and support

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Support is provided in English through the in-app support desk during UK business hours.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, failed payment, or fraudulent activity. On termination all licence keys tied to your account are revoked.

9. Warranty and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Project BiFrost' aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
